In last years, dc-dc converters solve the most issues in the industrial application in the area of power electronics, especially renewable energy, military applications and affiliated engineering developments. They are used to convert the DC input that unregulated to regulated output perhaps larger or smaller than input according to the type of converters. This paper presents three primary control method used for negative output Super lift Luo DC-DC converter. These methods include a Voltage mode control (VMC), Current mode control (CMC), and Sliding mode control (SMC). The goal of this article is to study and selected an appropriate and superior control scheme for negative DC-DC converters. The simulation results show the effectiveness of Sliding mode control for enhancing the performance of the negative dc-dc converter. Also, this method can keep the output voltage constant under load conditions. simulation results obtained by the MATLAB/Simulink environment

Smart ports: towards a high performance, increased productivity, and a better environment

Ports are currently competing fiercely for capital and global investments in order to improve revenues, mostly by improving performance and lowering labor costs. Smart ports are a fantastic approach to realize these elements since they integrate information and communication technologies within smart applications, ultimately contributing to port management improvement. This leads to greater performance and lower operational expenses. As a result, several ports in Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America have gone smart. However, there are a lot of critical factors to consider when automating port operations, such as greenhouse gas emissions, which have reached alarming proportions. The purpose of this study is to define the most essential tasks conducted by smart ports, such as the smart ship industry, smart gantry and quayside container cranes, transport automation, smart containers, and energy efficiency. Furthermore, it gives a model of the smart port concept and highlights the critical current technologies on which the ports are based. Each technology’s most significant contributions to its development are noted. This technology is compared to more traditional technologies. It is hoped that this effort would pique the curiosity of fresh researchers in this sector

Computer-aided diagnostic system kinds and pulmonary nodule detection efficacy

This paper summarizes the literature on computer-aided detection (CAD) systems used to identify and diagnose lung nodules in images obtained with computed tomography (CT) scanners. The importance of developing such systems lies in the fact that the process of manually detecting lung nodules is painstaking and sequential work for radiologists, as it takes a long time. Moreover, the pulmonary nodules have multiple appearances and shapes, and the large number of slices generated by the scanner creates great difficulty in accurately locating the lung nodules. The handcraft nodules detection process can be caused by messing some nodules spicily when these nodules' diameter be less than 10 mm. So, the CAD system is an essential assistant to the radiologist in this case of nodule detection, and it contributed to reducing time consumption in nodules detection; moreover, it applied more accuracy in this field. The objective of this paper is to follow up on current and previous work on lung cancer detection and lung nodule diagnosis. This literature dealt with a group of specialized systems in this field quickly and showed the methods used in them. It dealt with an emphasis on a system based on deep learning involving neural convolution networks
